The Interstate Brick / H.C. Muddox way is the pursuit of excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation of a building product that has been used for centuries. For decades, Interstate’s / Muddox ’s focus has been on reducing project life cycle costs, energy conservation, material reduction and reuse, improving the environment, developing sustainable solutions and reducing the carbon footprint of our products. We embraced the reality of these concepts long before their current use as “green” buzz words.
When USGBC-GBCI developed the LEED-AP program, Interstate / Muddox jumped on board. In a community with over 200 brick manufacturers represented by 9 LEED AP’s nationwide, Interstate Brick / H.C Muddox employs 5 of the 9 – over half.
